Chinese Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a Chinese medical treatment that stimulates acupuncture points and nerve-rich areas of the skin to support organ function and reduce pain. By removing blockages, it helps blood and Qi (life-giving energy) flow smoothly. Acupuncture can reduce chronic pain illness and support mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping can also help release muscular tension, support detoxification, and promote relaxation and healing throughout the body.

Lymphatic Drainage Therapy

Manual lymphatic drainage is a gentle massage that stimulates the lymphatic system to reduce swelling, detoxify the body, and support immune function. It is widely used for post-surgery recovery to decrease inflammation, reduce scar formation, and speed healing. It may also be used for chronic illness, lymphedema, and general wellness, helping support the body’s defenses and reduce susceptibility to illness.

Energetic Medicine
Medical Qigong or Reiki

Medical Qigong is a Chinese form of energy healing that works to balance Qi, the body’s electromagnetic life force. Reiki is a Japanese energetic medicine used to support physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. Together, Reiki and Medical Qigong can help strengthen internal organs, clear blockages along energetic channels, enhance vitality, reduce stress, and help alleviate symptoms of chronic illness. Qigong practices and therapeutic stretches may also be prescribed to support physical and emotional recovery.

Tunia Massage

A Chinese system of bodywork used to move blood and improve the body’s vital energy, or Qi. Tuina massage stimulates specific acupuncture points and energetic channels of the body and relaxes muscles to relieve pain. It also supports detoxification, improves joint and muscle recovery, increases circulation, and enhances functional mobility.

A traditional therapy used to warm and stimulate specific areas of the body. Moxa cones (mugwort leaves) are burned around acupuncture points or energetic meridians to promote the flow of blood and Qi and remove blockages. Moxibustion is commonly used to reduce chronic pain, improve digestion, support hormonal balance, and reduce menstrual cramps. It may also be used to encourage fetal repositioning in cases of breech presentation. Seasonal moxa treatments can help strengthen the immune system and support overall health.

Warm Stone Massage

Warm Stone Massage is a soothing therapy that relaxes the nervous system and reduces inflammation and chronic pain. Heated stones are applied to areas of tension and stagnation to promote circulation and support tissue healing. This treatment is especially beneficial for stress, cold hands and feet, chronic fatigue, low back pain, knee pain, and other musculoskeletal discomforts.

Facial + Scalp Massage

The face is massaged using lymphatic drainage and gua sha techniques to release tension, reduce congestion, and decrease swelling in the face and sinuses. Facial and scalp massage promote deep relaxation and may improve circulation, reduce wrinkle formation, and support collagen production over time. Facial acupuncture may also be used to enhance these effects by improving skin tone and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This treatment is beneficial for frequent headaches, TMJ pain, stress and anxiety, nasal congestion, allergies, facial swelling, and hair loss.
